How are these with rust? And do the handles hold water inside after using the dishwasher?

Ideally, you should never put knives in the dishwasher. These ones specifically call out that they should be hand washed.

Thanks for posting this. Was looking for a set from Henckels earlier, does anyone know if the sharpener of this set works only for all knives or just the (biggest) 8" knife? Seems it fits only the biggest one.

I've had a set for 1.5 years. I always run them through the dishwasher. So far, no rust and still sharp.

I have these and put them in the dishwasher all the time. They are the first set of knives I've had that do not rust. They also stay sharp. These things are razor sharp and I love them. Super dangerous knives though. You will randomly cut yourself with these one day and not even know it until you see.

The sharpener works for all of the knives. Only the bigger knives fill the whole thing but the lower part of the sharpener is specifically built for the smaller knives. I just got this set yesterday and I'm very happy with it. Block could feel weightier but the knives feel great in hand with appropriate weightiness, and the sharpener is very easy to use.

Ive had this set for about 2 years now. The knives are still sharp but thats from my ChefsChoice sharpener. The sharpening system that comes with it is trash. It sharpens a tiny bit but nowhere near factory sharpness out of the box. Hope this helps.
