I purchased an open box - like new from Amazon in July 2022 for $75. It died on me in September 2023. Bought the same one as a replacement, open box - like new for $75. This is a great deal for an 8 qt. I'd buy one if I hadn't just replaced mine.

How is this compared to the $35 Gourmia air fryer? People are saying the non-stick on the Gourmia is not good; How is it on this one?

I bought this fryer a year and a half or so ago. It's fine, the nonstick was okay. Cleaning is a little bit annoying due to food getting stuck in the ridges, but it's not terrible. Actual fryer performance was pretty good. I eventually replaced it last week because the rubber stoppers/dividers were separating and weren't going to work much longer.

Why do none of these air fryers have the handle attached to a separate-able basket? I used to have one like that and can't find them anymore. These designs are terrible. When there's grease at the bottom and you dump your food on to the plate you spill it everywhere. If the basket came out of the "bowl" you then just have a basket of food. What's so hard to get.

I use wooden spoon to hold the crisper tray, tip over & drain grease into used empty can.

This particular unit does not. I've tried their fries setting on 3 different kinds of frozen fries. Just came out burned and dry inside. I'm sure I have it lowered the temp compared to what they think and it'll be "ok"

Great point. I had a (not great) GoWise with that feature that didn't last that long. Looked at Instant Pot Vortex but the basket did not remove from the base so you have to remove the food with tongs. Bought a Cosori in July instead and that basket removes so you can conveniently dump fries and such. I prefer that kind.
