I don't think these have 270 write speed. The most I get on mine is a little more than 100 write, copying large files. Read is fast, as the item description says, but Samsung doesn't seem to state what the write speed is.

Bought one before at $25, just ordered another at this new low price.
Works with iphone 15. As others have mentioned, lost the cap already.

I've had this for over half a year and use it as an encrypted secondary backup drive that I carry around on my keychain in case something happens to me data at home, e.g. fire, theft, etc. I like it so far, a lot. Very small, fast, capacious, reliable, and, yes, cute. As for the cap, like the body it has a small loop that you can fit a nylon-reinforced keychain string through to keep both attached to each other. Someone posted a photo of how it's done above. Every couple of years I get a new keychain backup drive, twice the capacity of the previous one to handle my growing data, as insurance against inevitable failure. This should last me a while, until it's time to get a 512GB one.

How many write cycles? I don't think there is any write leveling for a flash drive.

takes some doing because Windows doesn't let you install on an external drive. But I set up my Macbook this way. Basically you need access to a Windows machine to run Rufus to create a "To Go" version of Windows. And on the Mac you'll need something like rEFInd to select a different boot drive if it doesn't show up by default in the boot drive selection screen (you'd only use the Boot Camp drivers, Boot Camp doesn't let you select external drives).

HOWEVER, this being a "flash drive" grade drive I would strongly recommend against it--better to get an external SSD that can boot much faster, comparable to your internal drive.

Gosh, I wish Samsung would come out with a 512GB or 1TB version of this!

This is tiny and is plenty fast enough for media sharing on an iPad or iPhone. I don't think it is meant to act as a permanent external storage device (although it is faster than most external HDD). There's always something faster and the trade-off is size, cost and power consumption.

Watching movies on an iPad on a plane is not the place for a 60GB 4K movie. Why bother? I keep my movies in the 3-5GB range and they look fantastic on the iPad (Air).
