OP's one can be used in different phases until the kid is 10yrs I guess

I didn't get the slim as it didn't convert to a booster seat down the line. Otherwise, the reviews seemed just as good + some space saving.

I got the slim on the last deal. I didn't like it at first but I made it work for my car and now I love it. It could fit 3 across the 3rd row of my Tahoe, but then that means no rotation. I like the slim more because I don't care about the booster anyway.

Depends. I don't necessarily have to use it but its convenient. For my wife at 5', she needs and loves that it's so much easier to put the kids in the SUV and truck.

I've read some bad reviews in regards to the sensorsafe mechanism; along the lines of the buckle detaches so easy that the baby can do it.

One case use for me is an older Honda Element. The seats are set back from the rear doors and as such, without the rotation, it's not easy to get the kid in and out. The rotation makes this way better.
