I am a big fan of Razer keyboards but as far as their mice go every Razer mouse I have bought has had button issues, either multi-pressing the mouse button on a press and hold or failure to register mouse clicks randomly. Razer just can't seem to make a decent mouse, I would look elsewhere!

You've had issues with the razer mice that have optical switches? I would say that it's very common for mice that have standard buttons to eventually develop clicking issues but I've had pretty good experience with mice with optical switches. I currently use the deathadder v3 pro & viper ultimate without issues. All my other mice, I've had to solder on new switches (superlight, g703, g502, g305, hati, model o, model d, etc.) I currently use the da v3 as my main gaming & superlight as main working mouse with the viper ultimate as my backup. I'm probably going to get the finalmouse ulx large when it drops next month.

yes issues with both optical and mechanical switches from Razer. I gave them the benefit of the doubt a few times and just figured one model was bad or I was unlucky and I liked their keyboard enough I wanted a matching mouse so I gave them multiple chances and literally every Razer mouse I have bought has developed issues!

That sucks. Historically, I agree with you that Razer mice had issues in my own experiences (mamba, multiple old deathadders, etc.) but I've been pretty fortunate with the viper and DA pro v3 *knock on wood*. I've had to RMA all of my logitech mice until the point they are out of warranty and at that point, I'll solder on new switches.
I could live without my RVU but the deathadder pro v3 has been my favorite mouse since the goat mouse (intellimouse 3.0a). I actually have an intellimouse pro right now but because it's wired and the weight, it sits inside a drawer and I'll rarely pull it out just for nostalgia sake. I haven't used it enough at all to be worried about any issues.
