Yeah - also if you're in a room with a concrete floor or walls you're going to need a lot more output to get any kind of tactile bass.

So are these amazing speakers backed by an amazing warranty? Or are they, at best, ok speakers being propped up as something special with a longer than typical warranty?

"Amazing speakers" is a personal definition by you listening to them.

To the contrary, there are no professional reviewers that can do that for you.

One amazing part of their warranty, you have 45 days to find out what you think.
If you find they're not as amazing for the price, returning them is easy and free!

You are gonna get a lot of flak for that comment but not completely incorrect.

There are situations that you don't need a second sub, just overkill.

Placement is crucial for optimal performance.
TBH you can actually make things worse with an improper placed sub also.

Agree, but man I can't imagine how can you use the 2 of these Klipsch... If it were a pair of 12 inch like R112SW I can understand but this 14 inch one is a beast and huge.

Yea too loose for my taste, even more than Monolith.

Then again I prefer & run dual sealed subs in our dedicated medium size theater room! 😜

I currently have an Ultra Center, Ultra Bookshelves, Elevation, Prime Bookshelves and a PB-1000 pro in my living room. Elsewhere in the house, I have 4 prime satellite, a prime center, 2 Prime wireless speaker pairs (not pro), and an SB-1000. This is my favorite company by far. Excellent customer service, and super fun people. I've met Gary (president) and some of the main crew a few times and they're always excited to talk to their customers.

Depends on room and taste, it really doesn't hurt to have output headroom - you can always turn it down. I recently heard a system with 6x JTR Capivator 6000's, they are on a different level compared to these mainstream subs.

SVS is top-notch. Lightning struck my house in August and killed the tv, avr, pc, and other items, including a PC-2000 (non-pro). Contacted SVS and they quickly sent out instructions to do a bump test to test the woofer and make sure it was working (and it was). SVS quickly shipped out a replacement amp (no cost to me). Cant recomment SVS enough!
