- 45 day in home trial (See if it works in your space, very important benefit as speakers will sound different in different rooms based on placement)
- Free shipping and free return shipping (This is a big cost savings especially for their larger subs which are very heavy)
- 60 day price protection if it goes on sale after you buy
- 5 year warranty on entire unit
- 1 year performance upgrades for free
- Some of the best customer service you will encounter (Before and after the sale)
If SVS is too pricey for you, look at HSU or Rhythmik.Subwoofers are one of those things were people are attracted to mass market brands due to their more affordable price. and that is what their listening knowledge is based on. When you step up to a higher quality brand you will hear and feel what you are missing. The feel of a low frequency 10Hz wave hitting your body will make you sit up and take notice.

It seems to me that you'll never get the great/best subwoofer/deep bass soundtracks via streaming and therefore physical disc (i.e. Blu-ray) is required for them.
This is in reference to mostly movies... which I often stream.
So spending a bunch of money on expensive subwoofers when you mostly stream stuff might be a bit questionable... no?
Good deal IMO
I got a sb2000 two years ago for the same price.

This year when I was having a 60hz hum issue I suspected, the amp in the sub. SVS was happy to send me a new one (I didn't take it) even if it wasn't positively proven the sub amp was bad. They actually said "if you think it might be the amp would you like us to send a new one?"
In any case it would be silly to cut off at 20hz as the data requirement at low frequencies is nearly nothing.
In any case here is a forum post on it https://www.avsforum.co
Netflix does send below 20hz on soundtracks.
