You'll benefit at all frequencies the sub can reproduce. I listen to a lot of flac and hi res music on YouTube, and it sounds worlds better with a better sub. Yes, audio as well as video is compressed when streaming. But that doesn't mean you can't benefit from a high quality sub. I sold my SVS PB12 Plus/2 which played down to 14Hz, and picked up dual 2nd hand Mirage Omni S10s that only play down to 21Hz. It's more balanced, hits harder in the higher notes, and sounds better at lower to mid volume. I never play Blu-ray discs. I got tired of replacing DVDs with 1080p Blu-ray then expected to replace those with 4k Blu-ray? The insanity has to stop somewhere.

Unless something's changed, Rythmik is gonna be a lot more expensive than SVS for the same unit, especially during a sale like this. a bit hard to make direct comparisons since they use some different driver sizes / amp power, warranty length, etc.

On the lower end:

Cheaper at Amazon - $647. Choose seller GLAM AZON, used like new. They ship new speakers, its just a way to sell under MAP pricing. Already had a number of threads on this here, all reporting new merchandise.

I think the original PB2000 would be a closer match to the LV12M and it has gone on sale for 599 earlier in the year - I have two and they are solid at that price - I actually prefer the metal grills compared to the newer model.

The PB2000 Pro should be a closer match to the FVX12.
