Pro tip: Parking is $30 per day, so if you are going more than 1 day, may be best to buy one season pass for $99, which includes free parking for the season, for one of your group, in addition to any individual tickets. But I guess if you were going for 3 days or more, you would just be better off buying all season passes.

No, I go pretty regularly, but admittedly, we always buy season tix.
Are you saying there aren't deals to be found during the year for $40-$50 for a daily ticket? Meijer has ticket deals every year. I don't know if it's just cuz I'm in Michigan, so that's all I see marketed, but they always have a "Michigan Bundle", which was $50 last year, and included admission, parking and all day drinks.
Online tickets were $50 last year on the CP website. No one pays that published $80 gate price.
