Awesome deal to say the least. I spoke with one of the salesmen as Iron Pony is close to me. HE said the only reason these things are marked down is that there was a problem with the color dye of the the jackets. First Gear was not happy with it and Iron Pony bought an entire warehouse of these things. They are nice enough that I bought every color they had. They have Tall sizes as well.

I don't have a bike either so I just carry a helmet around whenever I wear it. I get lots of compliments on both the jacket and helmet.

Whats the difference beside pockets and vents?

Earlier reviews of the old versions say Kathmandu slimmer fitting, but they look identical on videos.

you could, but these are made with durable materials meant to protect the rider, so they're a bit stiff and designed for protection first over warmth, etc

OP - thanks for the motorcycle related post. Bought a tan large tall.....that size can be difficult to find. Also the quality of this jacket should be great.

Can anyone comment on actual fit/sizing? Some reviews online mention that they tend to run slightly large (read roomy). For motorcycle riding, I prefer a snug fit and would like to know if I should size down. Thanks
