You should include in the original post that you have to have COX internet service to take advantage of this deal. Phenomenal deal otherwise. Haven't seen a $500 off iPhone 15 Pro Max deal anywhere else yet.

I have a funny feeling that there is an error here and COX will make you stay for a 36-month contract. $15x36 = $540 exactly the discount they provide. This is an incentive to get you on their mobile network. Why would they let you get out of the plan after 60 days? The phone will be able to unlock but I do no think you can disconnect the service which is $15 per month.

I got one for my daughter. Will give her 13 to my wife who will be transferring from a S21 FE. Fingers crossed it works out and I can cancel service once I get phone.

Well, my friend will find that out once the order ships when they try to cancel.

I also feel that there's a mistake somewhere, but I didn't see anything in the terms about device credits.

My friend pointed out that maybe this is a loss leader and Cox is just trying to get people to sign up into their mobile service.
There are a lot of people who are willing to get the discount and just stay until a better monthly plan pops up. This is a new device without a contract or a requirement to port in a number.

I have not done this deal with Cox but I've done several iPhone deals with Xfinity and the conditions were the same. Paid for several months then cancelled the phone account and had unlocked iPhones. I don't foresee any problems with this deal.

They're just starting their mobile service so are aiming to get their own customers to sign up. This deal is legitimate. Cox is a huge company and wouldn't screw with people on this type of offer. If I hadn't just bought an iPhone 14 Pro Max a week and a half ago I would go for this.

I have a question about the MVNO prioritization.

Cox is a Verizon MVNO.
If the network is congested (not talking about data throttling), would a Cox customer get worse performance than a direct Verizon customer?

Super weird but I put in an order for a 15 pro max. Now when I'm trying to add a second line it's making me pay $370 for the first one.. I'm adding a iPhone 15 @ $380 but my total comes out to $760 before tax- very strange
