Man....I have been wanting a mustang bass and the Fiesta red is awesome.

My brother (RIP) had a music master bass in dakota red as his first bass. I have it in piece and plan to have it restored one day.

i realize it's a short scale but how come there isn't as much love/attention to this vintera mustang? i'm in the market for a mustang, but i'm hesitant that i may not like the 7.25 radius and thinner frets. right now i am playing a g&l fallout for reference, and before that i was on a player jazz bass. jmj is the standard for mustang basses, but also it's more expensive compared to this deal. unfortunately i'm not near a music store that has these for me to try. any thoughts?

I'll let you know when mine comes in a week but this seems like a no brainer for someone that doesn't want the shell out for the jmj

The G&L is a much better built bass with better components. Unless you want the Mustang aesthetic, you aren't losing out on anything over the G&L.

Please pardon my ignorance but what is the country of origin for this bass?
Nvm. It's made in Mexico

All the "where is this made questions" can be answered easily. If it says "American…" in the model name, it's US made.
