I've been tracking this generic Seamonkey (brine shrimp) kit for awhile now and it's always been the same price. Either $25 - $10 coupon or $15. Today it dropped to $15 while still having the -$10 off coupon making it $5. This is a great deal on a fun project for kids.

Check out the YouTube channel picocosmos for information on how to properly grow brine shrimp. He also did a review on this tank and was less than favorable but less so because of the tank itself and more so because of the quality of the eggs.

I received this exact kit in September as a gift. Honestly, I'm more impressed with this kit than the original sea monkey kits I had decades ago. My eggs hatched successfully, and I have quite a few visible now (months later) from tiny baby size to 1/3" swimming around. The kit comes with an air syringe to use every few days, and food. The plug in part is only for if you want the LED light to turn on.

My 4 year old will get to learn about the circle of life this Christmas, thanks for sharing! These will be fun to grow and likely be fed to our cichlid fry.
