This is only a 7.25 ft. billard table. Not even a full size. Sheesh.
What were you expecting for $500?

I got one this last summer. It's very nice looking table. Easy to assemble. Not a championship table but it's a good starting table for my 10 years old son and his friends to grow up with

Check FB marketplace. Lots of people selling their pool tables cheap or sometimes even free, you just need to be able pick it up

This may be fine for the kids to mess around on. Check on Craigslist or FB marketplace if your serious about getting a table and plan on keeping it. A slate table is what you want. It'll be heavy but will last forever. Just needing cloth replacement depending on usage.

This is true. Many in my area for free but need to pick it up. Don't underestimate the weight. We tried to haul a 9ft table from the 2nd floor. For an hour the 4 of us struggled to move it 20ft, I think the top was made out of three concrete slabs. Point is, after 2 hours we gave up and walked away lol.

good choice. Might have costed you $50 to buy it, but $5000 to get rid of it.
Nope, free bulk pickup from local waste company.

This table would be a wood top. Total weight is 200 lbs according to the specifications. It's also only a 7 foot table. Heavy, but two people can move it decently.

A "real table" is slate (the concrete slabs you mentioned) and usually comes in three pieces. To move it, you really have to disassemble it, mark all the pieces, and reassemble at the new location.

A 9 foot slate table is over 1000 lbs more than likely. An MDF (wood) table would be around 1/3 of the weight.

I once bought a full size billiards table for $50 at Sears. trying to figure out the logistics of it, but eventually decided it too big heavy and take too much space. So I never ever picked it up! lol
I think I bought the same billiards table from Sears.
I picked it up.
It sat in the garage assembled for 2 years.
Half assembled it where it became a storage table for many more years.
Finally got rid of it. Didn't quite cost 5K but it was a pain.

You dodged a bullet.

I have one of those, it's so heavy and was pain in the but when the floor installer was replacing the floor.
