Gotta end No Nutella November with a bang
6.6lbs of Nutella. Just what I needed!
A little under 10lbs (4 roasts) for the cryopack I picked, there were some lighter, some heavier, and cases that ran about $120+. There are very few individual cuts. There were also 40lb boxes of boneless skinless chicken thighs for $0.89/lb. I also saw a 2-pack of massive "tomahawk" ribeyes (about 3" thick) for around $70 on average. Didn't look at the per lb price beyond that, but it beats regular Costco, Sam's, and the local supermarkets for size and price.

Whats the price? I own a restaurant and only serve halal. I've seen 40lb breast for as low as $1.17lb.
The halal chicken isn't always in-stock. I've seen it as low as $1.29/lb. Also seen it as high as $2.29/lb. Depends on when you catch them.

Look, I get it. Smart & Final used to be where I loaded up for my small business instead of paying prices direct from Pepsi, Coke, and whoever. It's cheaper, faster, and I can do it on my time. I absolutely do not begrudge any business owner who's hustling to make ends meet. Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt.

But when the local "Corner Butcher" zoomer who likes to crow about his hand selected, grass-fed, grain-finished certified prime Angus beef from a small organic farm back east is there buying Swift USDA choice primals and cryopacks.... F that guy. He's charging $30-$40/lb, and there's some stupid mouth-breathers who are buying his bullsh*t hook, line and sinker. That guy, and those like him, can eat the whole certified Angus prime bag of .
That escalated quickly... laugh out loud

Better yet... A good set of high carbon steel butcher knives!!
I have nice knives.
To get a nice super thin slice of meat as used in Asian cuisine (think: ribeye / pork butt), a slicer will be a lot more consistent.
Oh, that and my wife (the person who does the cutting) wants one - haha!

They also have excellent prices on halal chicken breasts (40 pound box). We bought a box of each on Saturday.

Was it Cresent brand chicken?

Not necessarily better than regular Costco, so make sure to confirm first. Example: San Pellegrino Essenza, Variety Pack, 11.15 fl oz, 24-count

Costco Business ($23.39): https://www.costcobusinessdeliver...80874.html

Costco ($15.59): https://www.costco.com/san-pelleg...57769.html
Not exactly a fair comparison. Business doesn't have the discount until 12/4 and adds on the recycle fee in your delivered price. Discounts don't usually apply at both stores at the same time, but prices are often the same.

Also, Costco Business in-warehouse price is a lot cheaper than Costco Business online. The online prices include the shipping fee and some items include a small overhead charges. And more often than not, Costco Business in-warehouse price is cheaper than regular Costco.

Nice single example, I bet I can do one too. Especially when most of the things they sell are from regular warehouse.

I absolutely love my business center, and I think it does work well for family shopping too. We buy a lot of things there and freeze it. The 5 lb blocks of mozzarella cheese to shred is a crazy deal. Its like 2.50 a lb. or so compared to 4 bucks for an 8 oz bag of already shredded. We usually buy stuff like mozz, parm, chicken, and freeze all of those things.

It's also super convenient to run in and grab a couple quick things like water or TP or something because there is never a line, never. I have never been into the store and had to wait for a register when leaving, and I have gone at all sorts of times. They also just started opening on Sundays which is a bonus.

Lastly, when you need big packs of stuff like those giant muffins or pastry's they sell individually, you can get them there super cheap as well. There are definitely things that they don't sell compared to normal Costco, but it can supplement very well.

Mine even sells whole goats!
