I would say so, yes. Just confirm with the Samsung authentication utility to verify it is legitimate before you decide to keep, otherwise return to amazon

If I buy this with the reader, I should have less of a chance of getting a counterfeit vs without, right?

Burned in the past, don't trust Amazon for SD cards...

1. Does the memory card + reader still come with an adapter? If not, can I use any adapter with this memory card?

2. Do I need to use this particular reader to get the most out of this memory card?

1. This card plus reader combo does not come with SD adapter. But you could use any other quality one that you have and it should work just fine.

2. From what I've researched, yes, you do need this reader to get the maximum speeds that they claim for this card (180). In general, it is one of the fastest and highest rated microSD readers out there.

1. This package doesn't have the SD size adapter.
2. If you don't use USB-A port, it doesn't matter.

It comes down to whether your TV can accept such a high capacity card (addressing issues), but otherwise it definitely should work.

I paid nearly twice this much for a couple of these kits earlier this year, and have been extremely pleased. Data moves very quickly on and off of the card with this adapter and a USB 3 port.

Best Buy better for authentic cards, Amazon tends to mix stock from different vendors with their own, as long as they have the same bar code on the package.
