According to this spec sheet ( https://storage-asset.msi.com/exc...-080US.pdf ), the motherboard in this prebuilt is the PRO B760-VC WIFI. This motherboard has 4 dimm slots, so if you wish to add 2 more sticks to run in a 4 dimm configuration (more stressful on the cpu memory controller, as it remains dual channel), you can. The motherboard's spec page: https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/P...cification

This beats every non-refurbished deal available over black Friday and cyber Monday by a decent amount. If you need a new mid-tier gaming prebuilt, and are only willing to purchase in new condition, this is probably the best deal you'll see for quite a while.

32GB unless serious video editing, VMs, 3D modelling, simulation, machine learning, etc.

Otherwise, check to confirm 64 GB is supported on this motherboad.

EDIT: Wow! "Maximum RAM Supported: 192 GB" !!

Anyone have any luck getting them to take the $100 off and already unshipped purchase from yesterday?
Quote from doubledownwookie :
Dang. Do I rebuy this and just return my other one?
Quote from L00k1ng_4_D3als :
Right. I ordered yesterday @$799.
Quote from playaplayer :
I ordered this on cyber Monday with 10% employee discount. I reorder this one and it's 629.10 plus tax should I cancel the other one or wait?
Walmart has been eroding their price protection/adjustment policies for years. The current price match policy page can be found here: https://www.walmart.com/help/arti...60c899b288
Since that page states they do not price match "Items purchased from Walmart.com that later decrease in price", I'd assume your best bet is just reordering.

Return what? It just posted yesterday. Mine hasn't even shipped.
You may request cancellation. I think higher chance of getting $699 deal if enough ppl cancel $799 one...or miss both lol

Going to pull the trigger on this one for a golf simulator I'm building. Anyone know if this is upgradable? Say if I want to take it to 4K in the future?

This will handle a 4070Ti no problem. Which should easily do DLSS3 4K

I initially ordered this at like $850, had to rebuy at $799 since they would not adjust. So, just rebought again. Walmart CS was not great when I asked to price match

Not great, meaning they declined?

I literally just had mine delivered an hour ago. Guess I will be returning that one for 799 as I just ordered another one for 699. Kinda stupid on Walmart's part. If they would have just credited me the $100.00 I just would have kept the one that was delivered today.

Worth it to upgrade if I'm running a 2-year old HP Gaming Pavillion with 3060?? I heard 3060 is almost as good if not better than 4060??? Is that really true???

How is this compared to https://www.costco.com/msi-aegis-...39263.html its an MSI Aegis R should I return and get this Walmart and upgrade later? I don't have plans to game, just video editing, and some apps running all day.

This one has good airflow, better than Aegis R, if I want to reduce the hastle of future upgrades I can just keep Aegis R, got it for $1299

I had to switch cards. I've spent a lot this month. I have the Skytech sitting here and both MSI's scheduled to be delivered on Thursday. What a mess.
