According to this spec sheet ( https://storage-asset.msi.com/exc...-080US.pdf ), the motherboard in this prebuilt is the PRO B760-VC WIFI. This motherboard has 4 dimm slots, so if you wish to add 2 more sticks to run in a 4 dimm configuration (more stressful on the cpu memory controller, as it remains dual channel), you can. This beats every non-refurbished deal available over black Friday and cyber Monday by a decent amount. If you need a new mid-tier gaming prebuilt, and are only willing to purchase in new condition, this is probably the best deal you'll see for quite a while.

Seems like a great deal. If this deal had been around a week ago I probably would have gotten it. Instead I got a couple of laptops.

I got the Lenovo LOQ 15 laptop w/ an RTX 4050, Ryzen 7 7840HS, 8GB RAM, 512GB SSD and 144hz screen for this same price.

Also got an HP Omen 16.1" laptop w/ 165hz screen, Ryzen 7 7840HS, RTX 4060, 16GB ram, 512GB SSD for $777.

Would this be huge step in the wrong direction or pretty comparable to save almost $400? Just received the CyberPower today. It's for my daughter, she planning on doing VR with it and just starting get into bigger games.

Ya that skytech was a good deal but disappeared in like 1-2 hours. This one I have linked has 2x the ram, more vram on the graphics card which should help in VR and a more powerful PSU so you can upgrade your graphics card if your daughter wants to run more highend stuff in the future.

seems to run fine in 1080p, which this system is geared to. You could run it in dlss for higher from rates in 1440p if you wanted. No 4k.
