According to some reputable reviews, the connection is much better on the Ultra Earbuds. I have the QC 1 and QC 2, and I have connectivity issues from time to time. For the QC 2, I actually used the warranty 2 times and the 3rd pair is almost perfect. I'm glad Bose showed me amazing customer service and sent me new earbuds each time without me having to argue about it. Other than the connectivity issues, I really like these earbuds. I've tried top-of-the-line Sony, Sennheiser, and other brands and have come back to Bose earbuds each time, primarily because of the noise-cancellation.
