I've never had lotion do that? These are maybe 3 years old. But I've had older and never seen lotion liquify.

Found my answer: Why does old lotion get watery?
Texture: Expired lotion may also separate, especially if it's water-based (water and oil are not friends, remember?). When those emulsifiers degrade over time, you may be left with a watery formula that clumps toward the bottom.May 7, 2021

Hope to know your experience and comparison of the two products. Currently, I am using CeraVe (for both body and face), but really want to try this Vaseline product.
Thank you!
Less moisturizing than jergens ultra healing but less greasy. Think water based moisturize rather than petroleum.

You aren't comparing apples to apples. The CeraVe has hyaluronic acid, which is supposed to reduce swelling and has (supposedly) beneficial cosmetic effect. The Vaseline is much more basic, with moisturizers. That's why the CeraVe is much more expensive. That said, I don't know if HA is pretty much snake oil when it comes to benefits.
