Personally in this price range I'd wait for the a16 TUF at bestbuy with 7600s. 99% SRGB screen, and much higher power gpu. it was $750 for the past few weeks.

This victus and the gigabyte are lower wattage version of the 4060.. plus I'm guessing the cooling is sub-par.

Such a shame, these gimped 4060, should be some sort of fraud, probably explains the elden ring at 40fps, i was reading about on one of these, when frame rate should be much higher.

Ntsc or similar anyone? I can do IPS/250nits/144hz but a washed out panel is a no go.

Bought, then cancelled after seeing the reviews regarding this being gimped. Such a shame as I'm really in need of a new laptop and thought this was good 😔

Looking at the numbers the 4060 75watt is on par with any 4050 thats at least 105watt cause Nvidia wattage capped all the 4050s even ones that state 140 watts at 105watt....

With the 10% rebate, I am heavily deciding returning my open box gigabyte from best buy with a 4050 140 watt and only 8gigs of ram I got for $630 and just getting this since after rebate it will be almost the same price and also have a full 16gb of ram.... Will need to examine the screens to make my decision I think.

That being said for a mobile gaming laptop, not a desktop replacement this sure fits the bill for being easy on the power drain and thin/light while still providing over 60FPS in any 1080p game currently on the market.

It still is good, but depends on your needs, look at what I posted above. My friend uses a even older 1650 which is outclassed by all of these and games fine at 1080.
