Personally, I would wait for the HP Omen over this. The 1 lb weight difference and 330W (3lb) charger is quite noticeable even if you don't travel with it. It's a shame since their earlier models used a smaller 240W brick and weighed 0.7 lb less. Still a great price without any card requirements. At least this is a full-powered 4060 compared to the $700 Victus.
Edit:
My mistake, I would not wait for Omen over this. HP has missed the shipping date and is providing no feedback. There's also a 15% restocking fee for cancelling.
I cant tell if G15 has power delivery on usb c, but omen does. I think a gan charger would help if you are concerned with weight of the charger
Should I just get it anyways, or add a couple hundred dollars and wait for another good price on a TUF, legion 5, 5 slim, or even an LOQ? (I'm not in a huge rush, because I have a TUF with 3050 ti..it's just that 4gb video memory is not enough xD)
-I'd try an HP Omen, but lack of numpad just doesn't work for me.
