More songs? I thought that's where subscriptions come in. All they do is mix around a small sample and call it by the year. Such a lame system. Lazy developers. The base game is terrible. It's just advertising sample. Paying for advertising.. double lame.

And it says it right there.. code in box!! Why waste resources on this? It's hooking the WRONG audience and duping them with "haha no cartridge for u". Know your audience. This is the worst delivery system. If u want digital sales go digital. No place for digital sales in a video game case. That is so lame I don't even have a word to express the level of deep lameness I feel for this practice. Is it like one greedy man enslaving his employees for minimum wage and not knowing his customers? Getting money from both parties that is the foundation of the infrastructure. How is this industry working? We need to stop greedy man exploiting the system.

I agree that selling a full empty case with a download code is misleading and wasteful, it should be banned as it's promoting more unnecessary trash in landfills. They should just sell a normal gift card with the code if they want to sell a "physical downloadable" edition.

Please note that you don't even get the game as a straight up download. You have to not only have a Nintendo account but also create a new Ubisoft? account.

Hard no. Don't buy this crap.

While you are correct this should only be a instant digital code emailed. Im buying this as a gift and I can wrap this easier than a code printed on a piece of paper.

I hate that they moved to smartphones. I've had a lot of trouble getting phones to successfully sync to the game. Being able to use the joy cons would be a game changer for me.

Even then, the whole tracking/scoring is being based on what one hand is doing. I miss the old Xbox Kinect days when it tracked full body movements.

I agree with some of the comments above. Just dance is just a cash cow for the developers at this point. Lazy.

edit. I should clarify my troubles have been with the apple tv version and a previous Xbox version (2022 maybe?). I've gone as far as messing with port forwarding and nat settings in my router too make it work (per Ubisoft support recommendation)

I think the point was that there should be an actual disc in the case for physical collectors and people buying the game as a gift.
