Absolutely. I've built a bunch of furniture and stuff from scratch using the even more basic Kreg R3 jig. If a novice like me can build a 36" bathroom vanity, a nice TV stand, and a kitchen island cart (to name a just a few projects) using a simple Kreg jog and pocket hole screws as the main type of joinery, the sky's the limit. I've used other types of clamps but this sort of clampy pliers is probably the most convenient. This kit is a good start, and you can build or mend anything you can imagine with it. There's a ton of tutorials online, and tons of youtube videos for ideas and techniques.
$40 is the price without the clamp and screws. This has the clamp and screws included. Every time someone tries to dunk on this deal, they miss that.
Not sure how much of a "deal" this is vs what it is normally listed at, but if you are even remotely handy, or DIY driven, this is a MUST own item…

I have the same kit which I bought without the locking pliers for about half the price. If you have any clamp(or buy one for a couple bucks from Harbor Freight), it will work.

Cool! There's always more joinery to learn, but pocket screws with a Kreg jog make for secure, strong joints, that go together quicker than anything else. I had my doubts about long term holding power but they never seem to loosen up, and I don't even use glue most of the time (although you certainly can, and I have).

That said the clamp is a really nice clamp. I have it and use it for every wood project I do now.
