I did the hackable deal the other day which made the stubby like $60 bucks. This deal sucks compared to that
Haven't seen that low unless you're talking about selling the battery+charger

Would love to see the deal where the stubby was $60. That sounds more like the impact driver...

Does the Fuel Stubby 1/2 ever go on sale?? I'd rather get that. I know you can use an adapter but you'll lose some power/torque in doing so. Couldn't find an older 1/2 deal thread.
The 1/2 actually goes on sale more often than the 3/8. I got both of mine on sale, so if that's what you prefer, just wait it out.

Do you have a specific reason for wanting the 1/2" besides just already owning a 1/2" impact socket set? With these particular M12s, the 3/8" has actually been shown to hit slightly harder... and ultimately, 1/2" sockets are a little big/excessive on a tool that isn't really suitable for >100 ft-lb applications.
Not really, just a preference to use it without adapters.

I've seen the videos on torque and I guess it's essentially the same internals just the 1/2 vs 3/8 anvil difference.

Most of my uses for this tool are with 1/2 sockets. So it will save time and be one less annoyance. Smilie

Were they the Fuel Version? I'll add an alert and wait it out.

I'm talking about after the hack, you are left with a stubby and a 4ah battery for $100 bucks . Assuming the 4ah battery is worth $40 bucks and useful, it's like u paid $60 for the stubby
You can do that with this deal too?

Returns are given back the same way they are paid. You will get a new gift card for the amount returned
I paid with gc, tried to return but their system says e-store gc unavailable! Tried 4 stores already

I have recently bought with an home Depot E-gift card, returned items to the service desk and been handed a physical home Depot gift card at the service desk. Took them maybe an extra minute to run it and then activate the gift card. They won't put it back to the E card, but should be handing you the physical gift card that sits right at their register and activate it with the refund amount. If they are not then they are doing it wrong.

Meh, this is a terrible impact wrench...if you're looking to remove the axle nuts on a tank or freight train.

Otherwise, it's a fantastic tool that gets nearly everything off on a typical car or SUV. I've had it for several years and it's been a champ.

The deal just the other day was $159, this is almost the same deal ,about a $5 difference. You can't just say the Stubby was $60 and this deal sucks. It is the same hack.

No. I'm not talking about refund to home depot Store Credit physical card - that you can't use it online anymore!
I don't want that.

Usually If you pay with home depot gift card(not store credit) and want to return something you can request to send you "E-store credit" back to your email - and that number in your email you can use it again online.

(I was doing this e-store credit for the last 5 years - it's not new. But just this holidays their e-store credit unavailable somehow. When they hit e-store credit buttom on their screen it just spinning and after 4min says system unavailable)

Didn't realize it was the returnable version - thought it was just a special buy package. Not bad then.
