Just FYI I'm used to these "pack able" jackets packing into themselves like one of their pockets.

This one is a pouch sold separately. It's only .99 cents but just a heads up it doesn't pack into itself!

wearing one of them for last two months. I got it last winter. Poor quality, discoloration near the neckline and overall not impressive at all. I bought cheap jacket before like 20-30$ puffers. But it is the worst. 32 degrees is not for me. Sewing line stiches near cuff is already coming off. Drawstring at the bottom is already broken and I cut it with scissors.

Saw people talking on reddit about how this brand's quality is often better than the price indicates. I got this jacket recently (size large, I'm 6'2 200lbs) and I like it a lot, fits great, looks nice, is warm for a light jacket - don't expect this to act like a parka or anything, although it could be a nice item for layering since it's not bulky.

Thinking about buying another one in a different color just because it's so cheap and I like it.

I was a big fan. Bought one 2 years back that had a cloth inside lining and I still use it. Bought 2 more last year, these have a synthetic layer inside and outside. Once we had it washed as per directions, the outcome was horrible. All the fillings came as lumped between the stitching. It became two layers of cloth with the fillings lumped at different places. I got a refund for one once I reached out. Need to return the second one.

Completely agree..I'd never bought anything from them so I gave it a shot when they offered free shipping. Bought a poly fill vest in medium since my pants are 33 waist. When wearing over a sweatshirt, the zipper unlatches which means they use the cheapest materials available. When I contacted support with a photo asking for a replacement, they refunded instead which shows ALL their garments are made cheaply. BUYER BEWARE

I have bought a lot of 32 degrees over the years as Costco sells them. Most stuff lasts about 2 seasons. Don't expect too much and it's definitely NOT at par with down jackets from $100 plus brands like Patagonia, north face, mamot etc. I will continue to buy their merchandise for running errands or around the house. Remember, manufacturers will ALWAYS make money and these are made in China.. you do get what you pay for!

shipping is $6, which kinda kills the deal.

I had a 32 Degrees packable down vest I got from Costco years ago, I think for less than $20. It was a great vest. Warm, looked good, put in the washing machine many times. Got a lot of mileage out it before it got covered in paint while I was working on my house.

I purchased this 32 Degrees down jacket in February 2023 during a clearance sale for $29, a real bargain for genuine down instead of synthetic fill. In my opinion, it's of decent quality with chunky zippers. While I have North Face and Columbia jackets with synthetic fills, this one doesn't match their craftsmanship but certainly keeps me warmer. Given that real down, though excellent for warmth, is tricky to clean and look awful after going through the cleaner -- I wouldn't spend much more than the current price tag on authentic down. For me, a real down jacket is a seasonal item to be worn and then donated to a place like Good Will once it starts getting warmer.

Edit: This jacket appears less premium than the one I purchased last year for $29. My previous jacket had a matte finish and a broader horizontal pattern, whereas this one seems lower quality with a flimsy zipper.

Garbage quality brand, customer service is non-existent. If they send you something that is obviously defective, or wrong, you will pay for return shipping. If you need to return something, prepare to wait 3 months to get a refund.

Does anyone who own this know the weight of the down fill? I am talking weight of jacket minus the outer layer and zipper.

Down fill rating is low but that alone doesn't determine warmth. It's the interplay between fill rating and weight of down fill that determines warmth.

A lower fill rating with higher weight may provide similar warmth as a higher fill rating with low weight.

I have multiple 32 Degrees items including two of these jackets, one vest, shirts, socks, etc. No the quality will not be North Face or Patagonia but the jackets are warm and lightweight, look good, and at a good price point.

Can't tell if you're referring to me or someone on reddit, but I assure you I'm not associated with any company lol. Just someone who recently moved up north and has been trying out different jackets after never needing them in Georgia. I got a sweet Alpha Industries parka and something like this is obviously nowhere near the quality of that, I'm not sayin these are great jackets, but for the price I've been impressed for days when it's not FREEZING, and it looks pretty nice on me so I figured I'd comment.

Bought this last year, quality is great, but I'm not big fan of the style though, stomach area pops out all the time

But how will people know I'm a tech bro and make a lot of $$ since it doesn't say "Patagonia" or "North Face" on it?
