I got one of those 365 coffees and was pretty good. I was surprised. Tasted very similar with Peet's.

A coffeeguy419 would ask, "What was the roasted on date?"

For coffee snobs, that's apparently the better question than the "Best By" date. I only recently found that.

Prime member 20% off when you buy 10 ($50). Is this too oily for super automatic espresso machines?

Organic coffee is the way to go, because regular coffee has a lot of pesticides in it like Round Up. I've switched 100% to organic coffee and don't miss brands Folgers at all. https://phillyfairtrade.com/blogs...-in-coffee In for 2 now and will subscribe if I like it. Thanks OP! Smilie

Thanks but that's actually part of it. Like beer, some coffee like Peet's says brewed on and some say best by.

if they use a best-by date instead of a roasted-on date, it's because they don't want you to know how long it's been since it was roasted

Even the highly touted and much hyped "organic" label does not mean that no pesticides were used. "Organic" producers are simply limited in the kinds of pesticides they may use and still have their product labeled with the trendy "organic" logo. In some parts of the world, these "organic" pesticides are about as bad as the chemically synthesized pesticides used by non-organic farmers. Some of these "natural" compounds are less discriminating about what organisms will be injured or killed than the chemically synthesized compounds they are meant to replace or somehow be better than.
