I would recommend to first watch somewhere for free before you spend your money. I am gay man and I found this movie to be terrible. Almost as bad as "Old".

M. Night is of course hot and cold. Sixth Sense was red hot. Signs was hot. The Happening and Lady in the Water were an arctic swim. I found Old and Cabin both to be cold. Maybe next time he'll get warmer. Avoid this unless you can watch for free.

I thought the movie was actually pretty decent (minus the crappy family you are supposed to care about but don't), you had no clue what was happening at until the end and it wasn't one of Shyamalan's silly fakeouts that made no sense or was a fakeout of a fakeout.

Now, I'd never watch the movie again mind you. No point after knowing the ending.

BTW, Dave Bautista can pretty much do no wrong. Except for tricking me into believing he was in a Mortal Kombat movie [youtube.com]. I'm still upset about that one. Be aware, the real BS Shyamalan style fakeout is at the end of this youtube video.....

I liked it. The ending was not really a twist, just not what you probably thought was going to happen. And yes, the family is very unlikeable and half the time I was just screaming to just kill them!

I liked Devil and The Village, every other MNS movies left me bored or angry for giving it a chance, even Sense and Signs, though The Happening was great for riffers like RiffTrax to tear apart hilariously.
