Do you actually own the card, the effort your putting in this thread to bash the card.
The card drivers are stable, Intel has been actively working on the drivers and have been actively taking feedback from community and working on them. Depending on the game, card can handle 1440 and 75hz easily. It would definitely be rated better than RX6600. Have been using the card when they were last on sale with two games. Ordered another for media room for $150 tiktok/Newegg.

My only concern with these Intel Arc cards is that they are continually dropping in price each week whereas AMD and Nvidia have actually started to creep back up slightly.

I know the driver issues with the Arc card are well documented but most of the issues are starting to get sorted out. For the money, this is a great deal no doubt.

For folks on the boat, give it a try. If not happy return it. Replacing a graphic card is easier, Its not like it will not be complicated like motherboard swap which will need a complete rebuild.

Check out the recent (this week) gamers nexus video on youtube. They did a update on the intel drivers etc.

Personally, I would not buy an intel GPU at the moment. Everything may or may not work well. If you tend to play indie games or older games.. or new games that use old game engines then you could be in trouble.

Also considering how much money intel has lost in the GPU business, it is entirely possible they will consider cutting the entire business line. At the moment they have experiencing serious headwinds. When the going gets tough.. babies can get thrown out with the bathwater hehe.

Also this is an ABSOLUTE NO GO if you can't run r-bar. If you don't have a new-ish MB, do not get this card. I think that is still advertised by Intel but it is worth repeating. Team Red & Green don't need r-bar to work but this card does. Resizable Bar that is…

according to toms hardware they are below the Radeon RX 6600 XT and GeForce RTX 3060

Basically - spend a bit more and get a card with significantly better driver support IMO.

Of course they are. Discontinued product line that Intel is trying to recoup money on before they announce it.

It was a discontinued product from the start. They're "Limited Edition."

more competition in the gpu market is good for us consumers. these may not be the best but hopefully intel will release more mature products in the future

Did you look at the 1440p numbers? Or are you calling 1080p the gold standard to live by?

This was only $150 a few days ago (https://slickdeals.net/f/17113279-tiktok-app-select-accounts-intel-arc-a750-le-8gb-pci-express-4-0-graphics-card-150-more-free-shipping). Hard to accept buy it at $180.0 so soon.
It's $30 more if you want AC Mirage at least.

Prices are dropping because Battlemage (2nd gen) is expected to be announced early next year. That doesnt make this any worse of a deal, as its arguably the best card you can buy for under $200 and next gen prices will obviously be MSRP and not on sale like they are for alchemist.

There were reports in that thread about a late price drop/stacking coupon that got the A750 down into the $120s. But they didn't show their math, so don't know if that actually happened.

I had two 770 16gb Special Editions October 2022! They are not worth you paying for them while you go through the growing pains. I stated that they got better than launch but not worth it while you have an option at the same price or cheaper that can play 99% without having hiccups on DirectX9 or older games in your Steam collection.

You do you, it's your money but this an open forum and as for now, I am free to give my opinion. RX6600, RX7600 or even 3060 on sale before Arc.
This. I've done beta testing many many years ago, and while having fun is great, don't need to pay big bucks to blow up your system. Get the stable one for home. Get the crazy one for work or test bed.
