This is a great deal, esp with the adjustable bench.

The headphones are cheap sounding.

The only thing is that I feel like the key action of Roland is a bit too heavy.

But this is purely personal preference.

I have this piano. Everyone says the Roland key action is heavy, and I agree, but it's also adjustable on a 1-100 scale. I set it at 40 and it's fine. This is a great price.

How does that work? Are you changing the physical feeling of the keys or just how the software responds?

You change the key response level on the piano's menu and then the physical feel (weight) is different. It's definitely not just a software thing. It's a physical feel thing. Not sure how they manage to make that work, seems pretty magical to me.

I wish I'd known about this adjustment sooner. I had ruled out Roland for months in my search (because everyone says the weight is too heavy) until I went to the piano store and the guy explained this to me (and I was able to see it in action vs a Kawai). Loved the Kawai KDP120 also but the feature set on this was superior.

I can't find any reviews of this online.

Is it a Costco specific model?

I'm pretty sure this is the Costco version of RP701.

I can't find this model on Roland's website. Is this a fake?

Nice, I see that in the rp701 manual under Changing the Keyboard Touch!

As mentioned earlier, this is Costco's version of the Roland RP701.

Nice review here: https://youtu.be/R8lraXCvIWw?feature=shared

I'm a beginner to intermediate player, I've been researching digital pianos for months and pull the trigger on this one. Has anyone here purchased this exact one?

How does this compare to a Yamaha Clavinova model?
