Meh. Tons of reviews across multiple sites claiming very poor battery life, underwhelming speed and struggling to do any type of hill. Insurance isn't going to cover underwhelming features like battery or speed. 250 watt motor, rattling noises, tire issues, braking issues... this thing seems like a gamble. Is it a good price compared to it's normal MSRP or sale price, sure. However, it's hard to tell if this is even worth $200.

Dang I just bought the gotrax from Walmart for $200. How would this compare quality wise?

Edit: Bought it and returning the Gotrax.

Razor has been making scooters for years and it also goes 3mph faster. Plus it seems it has a brushless motor whereas the Gotrax does not which is a big deal if looking for longevity

I bought the same GoTrax from Walmart and returned it the very next day. Horrible disc brakes and wouldn't trust them going downhill.

It is not quite the same comparison.

1. For electric scooters, there are a lot of no-name brands for cheap out there and the reliability of those no name brand is always questionable since e-scooters breaks easily.

2. Form factors are not the same category. OP version is easy for transport. The 450w motor one does more but also not as versatile for transport.

I usually avoid no-name brands these days as they break easily.

Good find. I checked gotraxs website directly and couldn't find any mention of it being brushless
