The gift card sent by Target links to a gift card vendor. You redeem for the Lowes (or whatever) gc there. Then you will get a gift card with a scannable barcode for Lowes.

FYI- I don't see the Happy DINING gift cards as being an option in my Circle account, just Happy Holidays. Maybe YMMV?

Also, not happy these companies are dropping to 15% when most gift cards used to be 20% off!

Read the Target reviews of people having 0$ when they went to use them and both target and the issuer couldn't do anything. Not sure now as I need to get these for family, but would prefer a physical card.

Limited stores, would rather HD than Lowes, and you are stuck shopping Target...would rather have cashback, or value in the card itself,

Btw these eGC is a pain to use at Lowe's when I tried last week. Cashier spent like 5mins punching the numbers and couldn't get it to take. There is no barcode to scan. Ended up paying with CC. Not sure if others were able to use it.

Update: NVM I missed step to redeem it from GC website first, it works to generate the Lowe's GC

I've never used one of these gift cards, but the instructions on the site say for you to redeem these types of cards online at a designated website?
