My Samsung branded HDMI-typeC works for my Sami phone & Lenovo laptop but not for my Switch or my Pixel phone... My Nintendo Switch TypeC-HDMI doesn't work for the other devices... What's the deal?
In for 1, if it does/n't I'll update this post
works great- plug_play worth $2 . I think I have to play with my Pixel to change settings
I will try for $2. All the incentivized reviews on Walmart are good, others are not so. But it appears connecting mac pro to a monitor works which I am intended to use for anyways.
What do you do with this besides charging your phone which you can already do with USB cable?
Many devices are capable of pushing video over USB C, either as HDMI or DP. This cable is USB C at one end and accepts a regular HDMI cable at the other, permitting connection to a standard TV or monitor.
Edit: and it has nothing to do with charging. USB C happens to be popular for charging but it's capable of so much more. Unfortunately for that to happen the devices at both ends, as well as the cable, must all support whatever you're attempting. And many, many, many cheap USB cables do not support video or data or higher PD.
