I feel like $10 is the fair "emotional number" in my head for these candles. YC has a relentless number of promotions that water down my enthusiasm for anything other than stacked bargains.

If you are a Costco member there are frequently great deals on high quality 3-4 candle assortments for $15-$20.

For some reason, none of the $12 candles I buy comes out to $12. They're significantly higher, even though they say they're charging $12.

It's tough to recommend since honestly there's some variability not just in what people prefer but what each candle smells like. The huge benefit of buying in-store for candles. My wife and I really liked Vanilla Cupcake, their Cinammon smell, and Balsam & Cedar.

If you live near one, Fred Meyer will have Yankee Candles (reg price $19.99 and less) for $6 (with Rewards card) this Saturday, National Candle Day. The 12-oz ones are reg price $19.99, so presumably that size and smaller varieties.

The sale isn't limited to Yankee Candles, but all filled jar candles reg price $19.99 and less.

Found out how to get the 20%, just text PERKS to 926533 and they will send it to you. I got 6 candles for $61, including tax and free shipping. Great deal!
