Don't get me wrong, I just dropped $8k on a bunch of Sonos speakers and love Slickdeals, but just being realistic here. The wealth level needed to buy a $30k TV is different.
I'm sure the wife would understand the value here.

Affordability is sometimes a relative term. Like some people do not have access to 30K at all to be able to buy this even if they wanted to and then some people could but wouldn't be able to justify spending that much on a TV. For the people who could, all they need is the right set of reasons to justify the purchase and believe it or not I'm fairly confident there are many people on slickdeals who could buy this TV. In fact many of them were going on and on in the TESLA thread.
