I have one of these and just ordered a second. They provide quite a bit of warmth (30's and 40's are no problem) and fold down into their own chest pocket. The hood is oversized and a fits over the bill of a baseball cap. I love that it is reversible so it's 2 coats in 1.

He is an absolute standup individual and does a lot of good things.

They have questionable color choices for a lot of the gear, and they are overpriced, IMHO, lol, but the company does have a good mission and contributes towards it.

This is a fantastic jacket, it's my go-to when traveling. I zip it up in its own pocket and can drop it in a bag no problem. It'll handle light rain, wind, and chilly weather no problem. I do find the hood a little large, it tends to want to drop down and hinder my peripheral vision if I put the good on without zipping the jacket all the way

I had a chance to meet the founder of this company a few times when I was a college student.

He is an absolute standup individual and does a lot of good things.

They have questionable color choices for a lot of the gear, and they are overpriced, IMHO, lol, but the company does have a good mission and contributes towards it.

I met the founder at a conference, but he isn't as involved anymore. That being said their stuff is extremely overpriced and cheap, does not hold up. They donate backpacks to a non profit that I participated in, doing construction in Africa. The $160 backpacks they gave us got shredded in under a week of just plopping them down onto the dirt each morning, would not recommend.

They only donate "up to 1%" of revenue. At the prices they charge, the only mission they have is cash grab imo. Saving the environment is the least of their concerns, its just great marketing

That's what I thought would happen when I gave the fabric & stitch a stretch test. Even as a layering option on the vest; I felt in the long run, I'd rather have something more meant as gear than nice looking. Even though my purpose for the option I was looking at was mainly going to be for casual wear.

The color was a tad flamboyant for me, but just couldn't pull the trigger because as a stand alone it didn't mesh with me as an outer layer.

I have one of these, it's one of my favorite jackets. Warm, good fit, and reversible.

I have a bunch of Cotopaxi stuff, I think they're good quality. They use good materials, YKK zippers on everything, and quality control is pretty consistent. Maybe a notch below Patagonia, but for sure above Columbia and North Face, in my opinion.

Ya for sure, nothing against their stuff but their prices are insane, the quality just doesn't match up. I have a Dakine backpack, nothing fancy, but ive had it for years, thrashed on it, and still in one piece. I was pretty bummed to see my backpack along with other participant backpacks get so messed up in a week... and really only being used to get to and from the work site
