Anyone thinking of buying this should price match to Best Buy or Microcenter for a better return policy

I have an Ender Pro 3. How much of difference would this be? Is it basically a "press print and forget" type of printer? Don't want to tinker anymore with printers, just want to print

Do you have to constantly tinker with it? I rarely use my Ender 3 anymore because the maintenance is insane.

Very much so. No tramming, no z-offset setting or manual leveling of any kind. It does it all for you. Loading the filament is harder than on a bed-slinger though.

I had the ender 3 v2 and ended having to fix errors and lecel and adjust for 2 hours on every print. Got the bambu p1s and now its actually fun to print again. Set it and forget it. I can actually design and know i wont have any problems with the print.

I just got this, full newbie. I thought it would be click and go. Um nope.

Theres almost no instruction btw. I couldnt get it to feed, turns out you need unlock the print head and do an extract operation. Etc

Nbd but like how was i to know?

Also already several failed prints. All related to the spool of filament binding or the spool holder literally fell over.

Its basically a part of the process. Its gonna fail. Even on the nicest of units. You learn, adapt, make changes and move on

Because Best Buy allows returns until late January. I have never been able to get Microcenter to price match.

I have both. K1 Max is blowing away Ender 3. My experience is press and print. Noise level is same as ender but ender makes higher pitch annoying noise than this. Print speed felt hypnotizing lol

You've no idea how much harder it is to get things up and running on an old school printer. This printer is very much a click-and-go once you get past the hurdle of loading the filament, which admittedly was kind of annoying and unintuitive even for someone who's been 3d printing for years.

No inclusion of a manual is a travesty. It's not a tablet or a TV or any other device that people have been using for many years. Shame on them for trying to save a couple of cents this way.
