I know there's usually a lot of doubt on the CPS warranty but I used mine recently for accidental damage. My son destroyed the screen on our 48c1 and they asked for pictures to confirm then sent me a check. Took about 2 weeks from filing the claim to getting the check. I also happen to have a spare stand for these now lol.

No, it's not. The A1, or B1 LGs were the entry level (relatively speaking) ones for 2021. The C1s are fantastic.

You said in your opinion to wait for lower prices, not that it was your opinion that it was entry level. This was LG's midrange line back in 2021 (just like all their C series TVs are). The A/B series are entry level if anything. Sure, this wasn't their best TV that year anyway compared to the C2 or 3 (I didn't feel jealous with my CX I bought months prior to its announcement), but let's not confuse folks on LG tiers.

Edit: lmao I was late to the opinion dogpiling I guess. everyone else just repeated what I was trying to convey too! 🤣

That aside, sorta tempting to replace my aging, slightly burnt in C7 with this for the bedroom, but my wallet's already crying from my recent G3 & B3 buys this month lol.

I would argue it's not. LG has made incremental improvements each year.Nothing mind-blowing if you can get a deal on the previous year's. I do like the better processors in the Cs though. They're all amazeballs tvs. That said, refurb large screen tvs are a nope for me, so not interested in this deal.

In 2021, there were 6 OLEDs available and this was in the second-to-best tier. I don't think entry level is an accurate description.

I've purchased LG OLED from Sam's club that was a store display without the stand.
Sam's sold it as new. I just reached out to LG support and they shipped the stand for free after uploading the receipt.
