I'm thinking people are Texas aren't subject to the same level of water use restrictions as people in California, who are by law required to use flow restrictors in their shower equipment. This affects the water pressure and your shower experience.

I bought this product with the handheld sprayer in October for 39.99 and I was very impressed with the quality and finish and I was also skeptical because of the price but I was impressed with the quality and finish of the product if you just need the shower head it's really nice for 12 bucks. if you do purchase the handheld version of this for 39.99 you will probably be disappointed with the cheap adhesive handheld attachment which didn't fit mine very well at all and I went with a nice suction mount that matches very well and hasn't failed me yet. sorry I haven't seem to master how to url. if interested BOPai Vacuum Suction Shower Head Holder, Relocatable Handheld Showerhead Holder is what I went with.

The problem is the legacy brands like Kohler, Moen and Delta have just kept making the same old stuff for decades, little to no innovation. If you want a waterfall, multiple heads or similar system, you have to go with these unknown brands. The old brands will sell you a shower head but not the valve, arm, handheld, etc.

Not an opinion, just a cold hard fact. Working on the fourth bathroom remodel in my house right now and haven't found anything from the traditional brands i would use. Its the same old round/square head coming out of the wall, zero innovation in design. I have nothing against those brands and would rather use them as I know they make quality products, but we wanted something other than what my parents and grandparents had. Look up rainfall shower and you only see the heads themselves from those brands, its the unpronounceable brands that make the kits with head/valve/handheld all in one box.

I would rather have an all metal shower head/system from Delta but all they really have is the latest variation on the Commando 450.

I wish it had all the arm hardware with it but that's still not a bad price. I just bought a larger shower head on clearance at Lowe's but I probably need the arm for it to effectively be a 'rainfall' showerhead. If I installed it now, best I could do was "tsunami" or 'typhoon" showerhead.

So if you're trying to tighten it almost no matter what is going to untighten one of the screws because there's a counterclockwise screw right there. The stupidest design ever. If you're lucky enough not to accidentally loosen the factory Tihlghtened counterclockwise screw you might be able to get it installed without trouble. If you manage to accidentally loosen it you will never get this thing to work.

Trying to imagine what you're talking about but I guess I'll see when it gets to me tomorrow. Intend to install asap and enjoy this wonderful rain shower that a few of you had been raving about.

I've always had luck buying used higher end plumbing fixtures through Amazon warehouse. If you're planning on removing the flow restrictor anyway, always go with the gpm that's the cheapest. The plastic piece inside is usually the only difference.

This is true its the strongest wand i've seen for the same pressure I had before, well also more streams too. Hope it doesn't clog up easy. But with the shower head I rarely use the wand.
