I have these and they're less than 6 months old, and the end of the rubber grip has rubbed a hole, allowing it to slide around. Certainly inexpensive, but one of those 'get what you pay for' situations.

Definitely second that- after my grips started to slip I just tore them off

Their Pittsburgh tools have a lifetime warranty. Take it in and get it exchanged every six months.

That blanket statement is no longer true.
I had to return some digital calipers that were several years old, and the box (which I still kept it in) said Lifetime Warranty on it. The CS person tried to tell it it was only a 90 day warranty until I pointed to the bold statement on my box. They exchanged it with one which was the same model, but now said "90 day warranty" in the same place on the box.
It's also in the manual on HF's website - last page of this PDF.
I'm not sure why this is posted as a deal, pretty sure this is their normal everyday price for this item. I actually prefer the Quinn brand which isn't much more in price but it's better in the size and quality, the fit and finish etc. The best deal is their Quinn Pliers Set (SKU: 64262), 4-Piece for $24.99, it used to be like 22 and with the 20% off coupon it was even cheaper. That's about 5 bucks a tool for tools that will last you quite a while, or if you want a decent 'truck' or 'second home' set. Once using the Quinn stuff I honestly don't care about the cheaper Pittsburgh electrician tool stuff, I still have it but...will never be grabbing it first to do a job.

No sure if the change is because people were abusing/breaking their tools, or if HF no longer has confidence in whoever is making them for them.
