The issue in my opinion with Jura is that after some time, residue/oils will build up no matter how much you clean/maintain it. Other machines such as the meile allow you to completely disassemble the unit including the "dispenser". The meile won't be as "pretty" but in my opinion and experience; it's a much better unit in the long run.
We ended up using the milk system mostly when we have guests and need multiple drinks fast. Otherwise Nesresso Aerochino foams milk better and is easier to clean.

However, while the recurring maintenance costs are more than we realized before purchasing, as well as dealing with cleaning the milk system everyday, this thing is great as probably the best espresso machine you can buy for home use. Yes, you can theoretically make better coffee and milk In a more manual machine from a company like Breville, but not consistently, and not easily.

Bottom line: I think spending $2k on coffee deserves trolling. Then again, I think off-brand instant is about just as good as anything else--still tastes like dirt if you don't add 500 calories of cream and sugar. So I'm a poor judge of coffee.
