Looks like T-Mobile is offering a hidden $10 hotspot plan ($15 before Auto pay). This is for consumer and business accounts. It's for BYOD hotspot devices only and connected laptops (so no phones or tablets). Looks like you will have to contact T-Mobile to get this. There will be a $35 activation fee as well. See the attached flyer and link for more info.

Can you or anyone else recommend cheap low cost plan with TM that would allow a new customer to get this, or am new customers 💩 out of luck because we have no grandfathered plans? Asking for a friend.
I don't think you need any voice lines for this at all. Per the website I linked, it looks to be eligible for new customers with this as the only thing on the account.

For heavy data users, you can get as many as you like. Let's say 4 of them and alternate one per week

just signed up using the Costco number...added to my existing account.

$10 taxes included every month
Sales taxes for the Franklin T110; will be billed as $3.75 a month but will be credited $3.75 so it should come out to be zero.
Did not ask for the $25 Costco cash card. Don't really care.

$10 for a travel hotspot of 30GB is good..why not.
How did you add the line? Did you do in costco or from tmobile? Can we use it on a mobile device?

Or just stick with iPhone 13 with dual sim: Physical sim for data and eSIM for the main number. If you don't use a lot of minutes you can get like $5 plan taxes included from US mobile for 500 minute. So it will be $15 for 500 min/text and 30GB of data. Cannot find a better deal than this combination
Nice, I plan to do something like this with my S22. Is US Mobile the best $5/mo plan for larger cities?

I added a line to my existing $10/mo tablet plan from last year black friday.
I paid $0 shipping and $0 activation.
My monthly cost should be about $20/mo
The tablet plan goes above 70GB without throttling, but exists behind a VPN.

Confirming the Costco number worked (and the direct Tmo number didn't) for me.

Only wrinkle was the debit card requirement; credit cards not accepted. Got a few days before activation to find one...gotta be around here somewhere.

Dumb question, but I have a tmobile line I don't even use…can I put that sim in an iPad? Simple choice line I've had for many years….
I have tried and it only gets top speed of 256kbps. So, it is super slow. I had to add a tablet plan to get full speed.

Been looking for a data plan for my 'car phone' (Waze, podcasts, etc.) and this fit the bill. 14 minutes from start to finish on the Costco line. $10/mo and activation waived. Thanks for posting!

I just ordered it by calling T-Mobile's Costco number. No DCC. The rep said I wasn't qualified for the $25 Costco card since I wasn't buying a hotspot device - I didn't expect it anyway. My account shows a sim card order placed, but nothing else yet. I guess the details won't show up until I activate the sim card.

I hope it'll work in an iPhone - with multiple phone lines on Go5G+, I don't really have any need for hotspot. But I could use an extra line with texting and data so that I can port in a number that I have with Tello for a Zelle account.

US Mobile in on Verizon and to my knowledge Verizon has the best voice coverage.

Or just pay up to get the Kosher plan for unlimited talk and text for $7.5

So for a dual sim phone, can you find me a better deal for $17.5 for unlimited talk and text and 30 GB data? I don't think so..

They will collect your ssn for their non-existing contract so it can be stolen in a hack in a few weeks and then quarterly afterwards.
LOL yeah, its already been stolen, as probably everyone else's at this point...but I have a credit freeze and figured they dont' need my ssn LMAO

They are grandfathering new lines when you add? Did you add on web? Are you using consumer web page (SSN based account) or business?

I have 2 lines on tablet plan, will need 2 more eventually.
