Looks like T-Mobile is offering a hidden $10 hotspot plan ($15 before Auto pay). This is for consumer and business accounts. It's for BYOD hotspot devices only and connected laptops (so no phones or tablets). Looks like you will have to contact T-Mobile to get this. There will be a $35 activation fee as well. See the attached flyer and link for more info.

I just ordered it by calling T-Mobile's Costco number. No DCC. The rep said I wasn't qualified for the $25 Costco card since I wasn't buying a hotspot device - I didn't expect it anyway. My account shows a sim card order placed, but nothing else yet. I guess the details won't show up until I activate the sim card.

I hope it'll work in an iPhone - with multiple phone lines on Go5G+, I don't really have any need for hotspot. But I could use an extra line with texting and data so that I can port in a number that I have with Tello for a Zelle account.
Lol u prob talked to a rep i know irl

Following the reddit link: if you activate at a Costco T-Mobile kiosk, they wave the $35 activation fee.

Reddit comment:
Got it - 3 lines at $10 with autopay. The number you provided worked; but they said they couldn't waive the activation charge of $35, but stores might be able to to.
Went into a T-mo store but they also couldn't waive; they suggested I go to their kiosk at Costco (apparently activations through Costco are waived). 15 minutes later walked out with 3 activated sims / lines with no upfront charge; didn't need IMEI or any other detail other than personal id.
Do you need to be a Costco member?

Yes, did this earlier and they made me give them my member number. They waived activation too.

Can it be a replacement for the Xfinity Internet at home? Xfinity is charging me too much after the 1year term ended and I want to cancel their service (at least temporarily for a few months). I am in the California South Bay area.

change plan and sign up again. or cancel and sign up in your spouse/roommate name.
you cannot replace a home internet connection with these.

I'm tempted to get this, hardwire the hotspot in my vehicle and use this as my vehicle's hotspot instead of using att. Good deal and repped
Me too. You have a Pacifica?

Super deal but the laptop-only "feature" feels sooo limiting. I guess it can't hurt to have 30 GB of backup.

Can I presume they can tell if I try to use it with a Roku?

Deal still live. I wasn't able to get the free hotspot device like another poster got, and didn't get the Costco gift card(don't really care), but I did get the activation fee waived and $10/month price.

Will be using the sim in an old phone and use it for wifi in my car. Good stuff!

To add to this, I was able to sign up for the T-Mobile hotspot promo via T-Mobile's Costco customer line, and they also waived the activation fee. 1-833-428-1765

They do require proof of Costco membership (your Costco membership number).

I was able to do this, the rep got the correct plan without me having to tell him any codes, but it took like an hour to get everything going.

I got the hotspot and it's being shipped in 2 days, we'll see how it goes.

$35 activation kills it.....just call it $50 for 30GB and be done with it.

Worst math and comprehension ever
Putting $10/mo. in the title might have helped. ($13/mo. if the $35 activation is amortized over 12 months)
