Looks like T-Mobile is offering a hidden $10 hotspot plan ($15 before Auto pay). This is for consumer and business accounts. It's for BYOD hotspot devices only and connected laptops (so no phones or tablets). Looks like you will have to contact T-Mobile to get this. There will be a $35 activation fee as well. See the attached flyer and link for more info.

I get 50mb included in my $30 plan

having said that the visible $25 plan includes unlimited hotspot
Can you tell me where to find the $25 unlimited hotspot? I pay $37.50 at TMO for 50 GB a month.

Has anyone tried placing a device inside a Tesla so you can hotspot instead of using the Tesla cellular for $11 a month? Not a big difference but it seems it would be a lot faster and others could use it while driving.

Y'all are so deal savvy. I am on an old One Plan. I wonder if I upgraded to the 5Ggo next or whatever it's called if I could a better deal.

Anyone compare this to the $10 business unlimited plan yet? Pro vs Cons?

Chat attempt to purchase resulted in a trip to store to "verify ID" Store refused to "verify id" and wants to set up new account themselves Refuses to waive activation fee. Chat confirms store must charge activation fee.

Call to national sales results in a requires trip to store to set up account. Bring ID and Social Security card.

Any ideas how to get around the trip to store? I have 800 FICO. Never had a post paid account with any carrier.

Store did show me that there are many people in their database with my last name and last 4 of SSN.

Apparently, business and gov't accounts aren't eligible after speaking with Costco/Tmobile rep on phone. Just heads up. Same SOC code referenced. Looks like for personal.

Ok if someone wants to help me to understand here is what i was told today.

The 30GB Mobile Internet is for use on a separate device and line from your current plan. You would use this with a hotspot/laptop, Chromebook etc, and it would add $10 per month to the bill on AutoPay. You are eligible for this plan, without changing anything about your current plan.

So i have a 12.9 ipad and a 10.2 ipad both wifi only. I also have a 12.9 in tablet with unlimited data on it already. But for $10amonth what would i use? those other tablets are wifi only.

Also i am on my laptop right now but with my frontier cable it has no internet of its own either

Hey bud, how are you.

I think they stopped that now, they just allow you to add it to your phone for trial or something now..
I just ordered one 2 minutes ago, at the bottom of the eSim page there is a part that lets you still order the free hotspot, just filled out the form and verified with the email they sent. Got an order successful page, so we shall see.

This is the link I used : https://www.t-mobile.com/esim-modal.html

No contract, however if you opt for the free Franklin Hotspot (optional) you would be on the hook for 24 months of payments that are canceled out with credits. I opted out of that. Will use a device I already have
Thank you!

If you want to use it with multiple Wi-Fi devices, you'd get a hotspot device and insert the SIM there. Some devices have been mentioned like the Inseego M2000, Franklin T10, etc. then all Wi-Fi devices could connect to the hotspot for internet like you would with a cable or DSL home internet router.
