Looks like T-Mobile is offering a hidden $10 hotspot plan ($15 before Auto pay). This is for consumer and business accounts. It's for BYOD hotspot devices only and connected laptops (so no phones or tablets). Looks like you will have to contact T-Mobile to get this. There will be a $35 activation fee as well. See the attached flyer and link for more info.

I just ordered one 2 minutes ago, at the bottom of the eSim page there is a part that lets you still order the free hotspot, just filled out the form and verified with the email they sent. Got an order successful page, so we shall see.

This is the link I used : https://www.t-mobile.com/esim-modal.html
Did it require a credit check of any sort?

If you want to use it with multiple Wi-Fi devices, you'd get a hotspot device and insert the SIM there. Some devices have been mentioned like the Inseego M200, Franklin T10, etc. then all Wi-Fi devices could connect to the hotspot for internet like you would with a cable or DSL home internet router.
So since i have home wifi from frontier this really does me no good then lol right? i mean i use my home wifi as it is way faster then TM so would be overkill then right?

Does the T-Mobile kiosk at Costco require membership number if you are just getting the $10/mo line, not the Franklin device?

Depends what you're looking to do with it. There's probably no point in a second connection at home unless you need a backup, but it's great if you want a mobile car connection or something like that (for kids' tablets, Pandora/music device, etc). Or if you sometimes travel and want to be able to use a laptop / iPad with your own connection and not worry about sometimes flaky hotel connections or business guest networks and things like that.

I'm a small business, and the offer codes for small businesses are different.

ZMI30GTI
and
ZMI30GTE

(One is for tax included plans the other is for separate tax plans.)

Update: My small business rep. said they need to sell me a hotspot device to get me on the plan. So they are sending me a Franklin T10 4G hotspot. They put the bill on my business account but are going to give me a line credit each month, so it doesn't cost me anything unless I drop the $10/M plan. I'm not crazy about that, but I also don't plan on dropping the plan, so I'm I guess that's OK.

Again, this is a small business account, not a personal account.
I called biz rep and they were able to match the consumer offer, the sim is enroute to me, no activation fee, no SIM card fee, but who knows what billing will look like until the first month bill shows. You know how it goes.

Anyone compare this to the $10 business unlimited plan yet? Pro vs Cons?
The business $10 plan can be tweaked to replace home internet in some circumstances. On device data is unlimited and may be deprioritized after 50GB but not throttled like this plan. The $10 business plan is now priced at $15 and still requires you to jump through some hoops to establish a business account. This line is available to consumer plans and will do 30GB high speed before throttling to 600Kbps.

That is a quick summary from someone who took the time to read through the gargantuan thread for the $10 tablet plan and is techie enough to try out some of the tweaks available. Never really exploited the potential benefits - just did it as a hobby to keep skills sharp and also as an emergency for the truly poor who get bumped off their free government plans and have to fend for themselves in the marketplace.

Not a my local Costco with Tmob kiosk. Guess they assume one has to be a member to get in but pharmacy and food court is open to all?

Food Court is sometimes outside, if not then it's definitely not a guarantee. I know in Hawaii they actually check the membership at an outside food court ($1.50 hot dog / drink is too popular).

Pharmacy and alcohol sales are allowed for anyone. They may choose to escort you though, so up to you. Also may need a Costco number to actually use the kiosk. The safest bet would be to buy a membership, there have been some Groupon deals lately where it is essentially free.

Just signed up through T-Mobile chat and they waived the $35 fee without asking. Just cancelled the AT&T service from our Pacifica, this should work even better as I can take it in the other car and I'll save $15/month.

Just received a sim today. Put in my android phone. It works. Converted my main US mobile sim to esim and will use this as for data only. Let's see how it works out.
You'll be good, I've been using the $10 tablet line for a long time now as a data line on esim for a primary line on psim, speeds are 600/200 on an iphone 14 pro max (EU), full speeds everywhere, no slowdowns.
