I thought I knew more about audio than the average audiophile, but you are over my head. I only know nitrates as fertilizers and preservatives linked with gastrointestinal cancers. What are we talking about nitrates here?
Higher quality DAC higher nitrate source can sound better.
Edit: leaving original for comedic value, but I definitely meant bitrate not nitrate.
This looks cool, but if you just want a streamer, wiim and blue sound are your huckleberry.

so, what would be a good entry level product in this category? I want to stream through my onkyo receiver/klipsch speaker system, but would be kicked out of the house if I spent 8 bills on a solution. Thanks in advance.

Farts. Lots of nitrate farts. Plus also autocorrect. But mostly nitrous farts.

I'm just teasing. I figure you mean bitrate. Looks like a cool device, but the current DACs in high end receivers are so good that I doubt very many people could tell any A-B difference. Higher bitrate maybe. Thanks.

If this is too salty look to Bluesound for around $400. If still too salty then Wiim Pro for around $150.

I just got this yesterday to stream to my vintage Pioneer receiver via aux input. So far so good. Sounds great and I like the convenience of controlling content from a phone or computer without having to get up and walk over to the amp. Adds a whole lot more functionality to an ancient audio receiver.

This is literally better than both, so if quality is a concern, and you have the budget. get this.

I will also say, I like the app experience better than Sonos or Blusound.
