This is no different from other companies that sell products that business buy. As opposed to writing their own library or application. It just has AI in the name, and thus they can charge a premium.

I would not let you "borrow" my car to test drive it even if you were my best friend. It is a huge risk and they're only paying insurance to insure themselves. Suck it up and go test drive at a dealership, and stop trying to place the liability on your co-workers.

I believe Costco is sort of like this (although it uses dealerships). From what I heard you just buy the car online for a pre-negotiated price and just pick it up at the dealership, although I haven't had much luck getting to the actual price page, so it may have changed in the past years.
