Plus the end game is DL-ART and once that drops in a few months, the x3800h will be the least expensive cost of entry into DL-ART.
Well TBH this(DLBC) was more about when it was getting released not if.
Assuming when it(D-ART) drops means released, that rumor of who is getting it let alone specifically 3800 is much more less reliable.
If the 3800 does get it anytime soon I would be extremely surprised.
Look how long it took for Dirac Live to come to mainstream AVRs, doesn't make a lot of business sense to release their new RC to 3800 level AVRs.
Hope you're right again though!

Doesn't make a lot of business sense? LOL
DL+BC+ART is a $1,000+ upgrade for the x3800. That's not a reason to push ART into more mid level AVRs? Sure.

LOL yup for the same reason they didn't do it with Dirac Live for years until recently.
Hmmm did that business sense work out good for them doing that! 🤔
D-ART is available now, to what mid level AVR…. Oh wait! 🤭

Lol. I see why everyone in home theater deal threads blocks you. You add no value or truth.
ART was exclusive to Storm until 2 months ago. When it hits the x3800 in a couple months, you will be eating crow again. Just like you did here with the DLBC roll-out.

lol ART into the the 3800 is all speculation/rumors right now, if there is any "truth" please share?
Maybe Dirac(& me) missed the business sense "value" memo that "DL+BC+ART is a $1,000+ upgrade for the x3800. That's not a reason to push ART into more mid level AVRs? Sure." is better than an exclusive deal with storm audio?
LOL hmmm let's see why do I get downvoted and people say I "add no value"!?
Oh here is one, me pointing out the "value" of DLBC, even provide Dirac's description!
How many of these Dirac Live "mid level" AVR owners(& non owners) say don't need, not worth, marginal benefit, diminish return, same alternative AND "useless/no value" information! 🤣
Since you have the "value" information, would you mind telling us what the cost will be for D-ART for the 3800?

Do you even know why Storm had exclusivity? And yes, that's rhetorical because I'm well aware you have no idea.
I already told you the cost of ART for the x3800.
DL+BC "bundle" is $799 regular price. ART is a $299 upgrade for Storm units, except some Storm units purchased in 2023 where it is provided free of charge.
So, DL+BC+ART = $799+299 = $1098. That could go down a little for a bundle deal. So like I said, $1,000 plus.

Since you're "well aware" by all means tell us "truth" why Dirac only offered ART with SA products and not mid level AVRs?
I might be going out on the limb here and could be "no value" info but just maybe since almost everyone just in here with mid level AVRs doesn't want/need/find value in DLBC.
Dirac feels maybe that's not the market for them with ART!? 🤔
As you pointed out, DLBC is required for D-ART!
Not to mention the highly recommended items to get optimal performance out of it.
I would love to "eat crow" and hoping you are correct! 🙏🏼 not holding my breath though! 😜

Yep, I received mine. Ordered the day this was posted and it originally said Jan 2 for delivery. Then on Dec 8 I got notification from FedEx that it was shipped and it arrived the next day.
It probably depends on the state you are in and where it was shipping from. Maybe some got their allocation sooner. I'm in Texas so mine came from the NFM store in Dallas.
You mean the app? When you run audyssey through the avr, it isn't meant to be adjusted any further. It is what it is. If you want to learn more about audyssey, there's a thread at the avs forum. Audio video science.

I'm going to guess you are talking about Audyssey app.
Not knowing how knowledgeable you are with room correction algorithms and or EQ.
These are a little older but they should be helpful regarding your question.
