Features:- PRS SE Standard 24 faithfully recreates the foundational design of the Custom 24, PRS's flagship model, with all-mahogany body construction. This guitar features classic PRS appointments, including a 24-fret maple neck, rosewood fretboard with bird inlays, 85/15 "S" pickups, and the PRS patented molded tremolo, resulting in a guitar that handles well and sounds as good plugged straight into an amp as it does run through a pedal board.

e.g.:
1) EVH Wolfgang -- small neck pocket crack in the wood.
2) Squier tele Contemporary - finish cracks around the neck plate
3) squier classic vibes (Pbass, tele, & strat) odd coloring on the vintage white (pink like), poorly cut nuts, and a few high frets.
That said, the prices are fair for what you get. I've been satisfied with all my purchases and have never sent one back. If you demand perfection (and most guitarist do), go to Sweetwater and pay the premium price to get 100% peace of mind.
I treat PAS like a Craigslist transaction that accepts credit cards and delivers to my front door -- no more cash-only, dark-alley transactions late at night...

It's worth the extra $30-50 extra to buy from a competitor that is willing to price match (big box stores/samash) or meet you in the ballpark because their customer service is better especially if you're not satisfied with it.
ProAudioStar takes weeks to resolve something and it's on your dime
Here's the same guitar on Sam Ash, brand new, for $559, there's almost always a 15% off coupon which brings it down to $475 -> better service and brand new instrument.

Keep in mind, if you have to return the guitar at PAS, you're gonna pay $30 and wait weeks. That already will cost you $491+time for a floor model
I'm not paid by samash, I've just used both and PAS was a pain when i had to return the guitar

You don't have to pay 100% at Clearwater for a guitar, if you look for it , you can find equivalent prices online like Sam Ash. This specific guitar and some of the other guitars I've bought ended up being around the same price if not cheaper at Sam Ash + a coupon code.
Example:
This guitar is $486 with a coupon code SAGE at Sam Ash currently (New)

Edit: trying all the codes I can find. So far, best is ASH20 which gets $20 off.
Edit: this works with DASH if you add a flash sale item to you cart (~$10 item)

I was skeptical so I asked around online. At least 50+ replies but, everyone was telling me their experience buying used, B-Stock, or Open Box. I'd say it was 100% positive feedback with most people claiming the guitars they received were new with all the case candy and 0 issues.
You can now check out their flash sale, add the lowest priced item from their flash sale ($10) and practically any product, for example, this guitar $559. Use code DASH and receive 20% off total order. My cart ended up showing ~$488 after taxes, free shipping. Oh and you currently get $50 gift certs with any purchase over $399.
So $488 including taxes, for a brand new guitar, better service, and a $50 gift cert at SamAsh.
It's a no brainer, you don't have to deal with crappy customer service and potentially B stock and open box risks
