some rebranded jump starter. who knows maybe its decent build quality or maybe its not. but I wouldn't take a chance on it.

wait for Ryobi jump starter to hit direct tools one day. imo its going to be the best jump starter on market in terms of usefulness to me. brb toss battery in, dont worry about being charged or dying from sitting

Eh, this is more something you can keep in the spare tire well of your car for emergencies. They usually hold a charge for a very long time.

I have WeeGo one and it sure makes coming back to a snow covered car with an older battery that has been sitting at the airport for 10 days in the cold a lot more comfortable. Check the charge level in the fall.

Wouldn't want something bigger that took tool batteries.

I got this and it works for my Prius but didt work for my neighbor KIA sedan. Im returning it to costco, got a better (hopefully) and cheaper one from cybermonday sales with larger peak amp. I do like it is LiFePO4 battery.

500 amp? Trash. Will probably work for slightly dead 4 cyl. Go for atleast 1000a. I love my gooloo 4000 but probably overkill for most

I've saw this one in store last week and wondered about it. The Type S one they've been selling the past few years of a similar style has been very useful.

This is MOST LIKELY A LANDFILL. I am basing on its 500A which is usually "peak" and means it could be much lower rendering it useless. I am no expert, but learned the hard way when I had bought my first time ever Jumpstart from Sears for like $30 some years ago. I believe the ampere was the same. It was completely useless when I needed it. It barely gave a very weak crank, and that's it, nothing and it's full charge was gone doing nothing.

I then started more reading on it. And to make it short, you should be looking for 2000A minimum and there are many portable ones available nowadays. I had a top Sears brand Die Hard, with maybe 1000A or 1200A, heavy duty workable but it was so heavy, I just got rid of it.

I now have Gooloo portable, small size with 2000A, and it's amazing in holding power full 100% for months, and with first second car started, and it still had full 100% charge. Just amazing. These 500A are just laughable and must be banned to protect the planet.

500a peak seems..... Low. The only thing this appears to have going for it is the Costco return policy.
